Carol's Class: Take Notes

I've already blogged about WIFYR.
But, since registration is open and people are signing up, I thought I'd let you all know that The Great Carol Lynch Williams will teach an advance section for the morning session this year. Two people are already enrolled in her class, and those spots are gonna go fast--so, if you've had any hesitations about registering I'd say put them aside, fork over the money, and get writing and revising so you can be a super awesome--published!--writer. If you're a serious writer then sign up for Carols class. And be sure to take notes! :)

  1. My crit group has all been to WIFYR, but I've unfortunately never had the chance! Can't this year, either. :( I am going to LDStorymakers, though, which is awesome. I'll just have to enjoy WIFYR vicariously through the experiences of others!

Glad to have found your blog!

    1. THanks for the comment! Glad you found the blog too :)
I'm going to LDStorymakers with my Mom again this year. That's a pretty good conference too, but it's definitely hard to come up with a budget for more than one major conference every year. Are you doing the boot camp part at Storymakers?

  2. Yeah, Storymakers fits my budget a bit better. :)

I'm not doing boot camp this year. I did in 2010, and it was AWESOME-- I got to work with Dan Wells as the instructor, and he's brilliant. My schedule doesn't work out to do it this year, sadly. I hope you get a lot out of it if you're planning on it!

    1. Yeah I am. My mom and I did it last year, and so it might be becoming a sort of mother-daughter tradition to attend this conference, and I think the bootcamp is a great way to get to know other authors (published or not) and to have friendly faces during the rest of the workshops.

    2. Agreed! I'm still good friends with a few of the people from my bootcamp group two years later. And it sounds like a great mother-daughter tradition. It's cool that your mom writes too.

I'll have to keep an eye out for you this year. I love meeting writers I know through blogging in person!
