A Scramble Towards the Finish Line

This is how I feel about finishing my novel by Oct 31.
Hello Blogger World!
I've been gone for a few months due to my awesome day job of fighting wildfires.
I'm still day-jobbing it in the fire world--this time as a professional fire-starter, but I'm now going to be on a schedule where I can sort of sometimes get on the internet and do things...

Right now I'm distracting myself from working on the novel, and I really should get back to it ASAP because I've set a deadline for myself. I want to have the novel finished before Halloween so that I can submit it to my first choice literary agent before it's time to write a new novel for NaNoWriMo.

Halloween is coming up very quickly, and I feel rather anxious. I'm determined enough this time, though, to make all my goals happen.

If anyone out there would like to read my entire novel (approximately 19,300 words at present) and give me some helpful feedback/criticism, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! I will let you read it. And I will take all your comments and be so grateful for them and for you.

Really, 19,300 words is not very many. It's only 110 pages. But those are 110 pages with a lot of white space. This is not a very wordy novel, and so I'm positive it will be a quick read for most people.

Anyway, wish me luck on adding a few more words/pages/scenes/girth to my novel.

Write on!
